Some weeks ago all Argentina was into the Worldcup of soccer (soccer is into our veins!) talked about it(specially this girl who love it!); so what it was one good moment to cover some social discussions like the gay marriage. The governement thonk that our team was so good to become to final(why our president talk about soccer, Maradona and one posible proyect to send to the Congress for propose one monument to the best Soccer player of the world when exist other true social discussions?), and that gay marriage wasnt our preocupation in this moment, so what it was out. But worldcup ends for us and this discussion is on stage again and the governement can´t denies one resolution, no more. I desire to say something more hopeful, but i saw that it would be difficult for gay community obtain a good result of it; first cause the governement, although is disguised of progresism, isn`t gives all support and make so slow all deliberation (and one new proyect respect gay marriage was discussed, but the answer was negative, so what it must to be to discussed again); and they want to make one popular consult for release from obligation. And sincerely, i didnt believe that the common of the peoples`ll be thinking it in one good way (Argentinians are the most individualis persons and cause in this times, the comments of the peoples was so so hard respect the gay peoples). Here, many people have one closed mind and disguise it with their doubtful moral of Christian family, specially when one questionnaire said: the 92% of argenitinian peoples are religious and living into their faith. Live we (all the 92%) into the religious practice?mmm... It`s a bit rare, i suppose that in one morning all this 92% wake up and remembered their religious practices, specially all peoples who are divorcied, who baptize to their childrens for make one great celebration but who dont participate of the religious ceremony cause the homily is soooo large, or this parents who send to their childrens to the catechism, but they aren`t in all it. Exist peoples who are into this 92% who was baptized in some religion who made one abortion too.But off course, The Church didn`t one campaign against this practices, cause it`s makes for the heterosexual;and the heterosexual peoples are the germ of the Religious Morality, no?. I suppose that exist this peoples who are against the Gay peoples cause they believe them So “Normals”, only cause they passed front one Church.. I wont insist with the same, but this week i felt me turbied, and i felt that many things that i defended are one show of shamless for me, all things that i learned was in trial; and in a special way i experimented how hard is the“fight” of the gay peoples in this limited society. Well, into this social discussion about Gay civil marriage in Argentina, many voices began to express opinions; but one special voice made noise; yeah, the Church. Like said Jessica Why the Church is oppose to it, if it`s one civil and not one religious marriage? And their discurse is:”we defend the family”. Defend they the family or defend they one idea of family-their idea-?; if itsn´t one religious decision... Last weekend, in my community, my parents went to the Church and late there one minister said to my mother:”put your signature in defence of the family”(against the gay marriage). My mother astonished me cause she said to the minister: “No, i wont to put my signature for it. I dont support it; but i`m not against it”. And late she explained me that she thinks that it sn`t assunt of the Church; that she dont meet one gay people around her, but she thinks how hard is for gay peoples who lives the rebound, and that the Church must to be one side of protection, not one more side of exclusion. The hunt of witches continue till today. I said in other post:”if you`re christian, gay and you need go to the Church, go!, nobody cant to deny it”; but for first time, i felt how unconfortanle is when you´re there and all peoples think that you`re in mistake. Is so sorrowful when you know you`ve the reason, but others peoples`ll be never understand it, and they intent to remove the things that you`ve learned for make you fell remorse. How explain your reasons when the others close their minds and their hearts? And there was Dheniss (this conglomeration of things that she`s) thonk how nothing the Christians changed in this thousands of years; cause we continue crucifying to Christ just yet when we hurt to others, cause we think that we`re the truth. And Dheniss knows, she`s all bad things, and she makes all bad; but she knows too that if she doesnt say the things that she think, she’ll be in the same way. Dheniss never was the best catholic, never; and sometimes this person (who when she was child prayed all nigths to God, and sometimes remember that God still sees her) is so egoist, she pursues herown interests, and in her needless of security sometimes she thinks only in her and forget how she can to hurt; i know, Dheniss is so imperfect and she isn`t the people with more autority to Talk about how to must to be one Christian, specially cause she`s bad in so manythings, but like imperfect catholic she knows that we must change our perspective, and if we can´t change it; we must to make silence, cause it`s hurt to others peoples and it obstacles things that the State must to decide and not the religion. And know, God inspire to the Church, but the Church is make for humans, and the humans are imperfects, and everyone has one opinion, and if you`re against the gay marriage think it`s about the State.Moreover, Church saies that gays are against the family when they want make their families. Well, i put my signature in defence of the family, but of one true type of family, of one family with Love, and the love isn´t exclusive of the heterosexual family. All peoples cant to make their family, and be parents if they want; and respect it, i think that is one absurdity to believe that gay match can´t be parents. Many peoples think that be parents is join 2 cells, nurse one baby, send to the school and nothing more (and i was listening some fool arguments of religious groups in Argentina in one TV Show named “AM” Where one man said horrible things about the adoption of childrens by gay matchs, and the host of this show interrumped his argument cause it was so ofensive. So what, Veronica Lozano: Thanx!); i believe that peoples who want adopt one child know the true value of this life; and is one idiot thing to think in the “bad” effects of the gay parents. What`s bad? I preffer to have 2 fathers or 2 mothers who loves me, who are with me ever, and not one father and one mother who never think on me. I suppose that it`s the important: how love this childs can to recive, and not who give the love. Moreover, if the heterosexual peoples would be great parents; would be dont exist the orphanates, but exist just yet. And here, i want to say other aclaration: in this Argentinian TV show named “AM” the man (sorry, i dont remember his name) against the gay community said: “ some part of the Congress and the society express that the Gay marriage and adoption like one solution to heterosexual`s problems...but the gays aren`t one solution for this childrens without parents cause the Real family is compose for one father and one mother, one life is the result of the union of one penis and one vagina, cause it`s the natural ”, What?!!! Virginia" decision, and a right I'm very much hoping the state supreme court continues to uphold in the "Perry v. Schwarzeneggar" decision. The thing that many people, including the Prop 8 supporters and the anonymous poster, seem to forget when they start talking about disturbing morals is that the US is *not* a theocracy, despite what may or may not have influenced the men who wrote the constitution. This *is* a secular nation based on the rule of law, not faith or religion. For those that want to claim that the US is a Christian nation and want to uphold (or impose) their beliefs on the entire population, I think it's useful to remember that laws are for maintaining order, not for standardizing morality. At the risk of making it seem as though all the commenters are jumping on and attacking Anon's comments: a lot of people have been hurt by Prop 8. I understand that you have very strong feelings about what's right and wrong, but quite frankly, it's not your place to be telling anyone what they should or should not do, or who they may (or may not) marry. It's not my place to dictate your morality to you, and if you voted for or supported Prop 8, then that's what you're doing to others, including me. I believe that all Christian beliefs can be summarized by the words of Christ: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength; this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: you shall love your neighbor as yourself. It is not our place as humans to judge the actions of others. We are only supposed to love them. What many Christians practice by "speaking the truth in love" is all too often only a veiled attempt at controlling the lives of others, which is not a Christian practice in any way, shape or form. Whatever else it is, your post is not loving, only a judgment. You may disagree with the morality of Josh's post, behavior or words all you want, but the appropriate thing to do would be to open a dialog, not post a pronouncement on his morals. Josh–

You have no business expressing your "disappointment" in him, as clearly you have no clue who Josh really is. You don't know his morals and values because you have never made the effort. So you Sue, disappoint me, and I feel sorry for you because you have CHOSEN the path you walk.
