Florida native GloZell Green came to Hollywood to pursue her dream of being an Actress/Comedienne. Like many others, she watched her dreams crumble and found herself living in a small room with no heat, no bed, and a rat that would make the occasional appearance. Every night she laid on the floor, covered not by a blanket but by a coat, dreaming her way out of poverty.
Oddly enough, Green began attending daily tapings of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She wanted to soak in the experience and learn from Leno’s comedic timing, the celebrity guests, and escape her daily routine. Green spent two years going to every taping of The Tonight Show, taking notes (which turned into her popular blog) and became a hidden gem in The Tonight Show’s behind-the-scenes family. However, after Green began to criticize NBC’s upcoming decision to replace Leno with Conan O’Brien, the network executives made the decision to ban Green from The Tonight Show audience.
Like every great Hollywood story, Green’s ban from The Tonight Show may have been the key to her future success. She began to pour her energy into daily comedic videos that she would post on YouTube. She currently has over 850 videos which range from celebrity and political parodies to her often hysterical daily routines such as encountering someone with bad breath or using wax to remove unwanted hair. Millions of fans around the world are watching her and YouTube has begun to pay for her content.
I recently saw Green’s laugh-out-loud video “Translating Ke$ha’s Tik Tok” on PerezHilton.com. I rarely watch anything twice, but found myself watching this video ten times or more and couldn’t stop laughing. Apparently, neither could Perez Hilton, who just signed a multi-video deal with Green to show her comedic talents exclusively on his website.

I met Glozell at the Jay Leno Show three years ago. She’s just naturally the funniest person I’ve ever met in person. I watched her talk with all ages (I’m in my mid-60′s) and everyone loved her. My husband is ill and I’m pretty home-bound with him and her friendship on her blog and all her daily videos bring such happiness to my life! She has a gift from God and I JUST LOVE GLOZELL!!!.

I must confess that it`s one of my favourites interviews. This woman is frenetic!
She shows to herself like one complite artist.

I must confess too that i met her for you, Josh. I remember the moment: i fineshed my connection with Kim and i was tweeting you, when i watched your tweet bout her work:it was funny, i enjoyed her work, cause she makes it with passion, and i think that passion is essential when you wanna to make anything, cause if you dont love the things that you make in the life, life hasnt heartfelt. Well, she transmit it; she creates her differents characters in one amazing way; she rock us and it`s good.In this she seems to you, cause you`ve one artistic power enviable, you squander talent, and humanity in your work and it shows your passion, and i like it!
You give a great reception to your partenners of interview (specially if you`re a great gentleman who pay the diner in his own b-day!) and it`s evident. Respect her work, i´m sure that she´ll be recognize(like you, perfect man)for her talent, specailly cause Youtube is a great oportunity for Biggest talents like you who has the chance to show us how you can to make with your art. I love you GloZell. You have a gift from God which is bringing laughter to people. Your first video that I watched was the one about Obama and his birth certificate. I must confess that I didnt have a good impression, but I got from that your sense of humor and enthusiasm. Then I kept watching others, and then, that not-good impression turned to love. Keep on GloZell :)
