Diana DeGarmo – Always Blue Skies

Diana DeGarmo – Always Blue Skies

In one of my favorite interviews on withjosh.com, you’ll see how twenty-two year old Diana DeGarmo has a maturity and insight far beyond her years. At the age of sixteen, DeGarmo was thrust into the media spotlight as the Season 3 runner-up on American Idol. Over sixty-five million votes were cast during the finale and DeGarmo narrowly lost by only 2%. She signed with RCA and her album “Blue Skies” debuted December 7, 2004. Despite selling 47,000 copies in its first week, DeGarmo admits the album didn’t reflect her as an artist. The album went on to sell an impressive 200,000 copies, but RCA and DeGarmo eventually parted ways.

“Sometimes you just have to take that chance and trust something…” It was that life-changing piece of advice that changed Jeff Pescetto from a normal kid from Baltimore into a successful singer/songwriter and music producer. You’re probably wondering who Jeff Pescetto is and how he fits into the pop culture theme of withjosh.com. You may not know his name, but his work has influenced many people, including myself, to go into the entertainment industry.
