Remembering Eleanor Mondale – Her Final Interview

Remembering Eleanor Mondale – Her Final Interview

September 17, 2011

Eleanor Mondale will always be a hero of mine. She was brave, genuine and had a spunky energy that could set water on fire. She invited me into her home and allowed me to conduct what would now be her final interview. I can’t believe she’s gone but her life and her fight against cancer will inspire many. She changed so many lives, including my own.

Eleanor, everyone has a story and thank you for being a part of ours. I can never thank you enough. You forever changed my life and how I conduct interviews. You will always be remembered and loved.

Dave Koz

Six time Grammy® nominee Dave Koz describes his two decade career as “a series of unplanned events.” At age 13, Koz picked up the saxophone in hopes to join his older brother’s band. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in mass communication, Koz decided to become a professional musician. He was recruited as a touring member of Bobby Caldwell’s band and eventually toured with pop superstar Richard Marx. But it was in 1988 that Koz signed with Capitol Records as a solo artist. His self-titled solo album debuted two years later and was the first of many in his platinum selling career.
