From celebrity clients ranging from Zac Efron to Leeza Gibbons or countless television appearances such as Oprah, The Today Show and Bravo’s Shear Genius, Dean Banowetz is more than The Hollywood Hair Guy. He is a creative genius, shameless self promoter of the Instyler, and a dedicated patriot who was even recognized by the U.S Army as Soldier of the Year in 1987.
Banowetz invited me this week to his private Hollywood Hills’ home salon and I was immediately intoxicated by his quick wit and larger than life demeanor. I knew this was not going to be a “normal” interview.
